Senior Android engineer with 12+ years of consumer apps at scale, most recently on Dropbox's Mobile Growth (monetization) team. I own features end to end, from technical design through implementation and rollout to measurement, and I have often been the only Android engineer on cross-functional growth and billing projects. Most of my recent work is subscriptions, payments, ad attribution and A/B experiments. I tend to find old defects that others have missed. I also build Python/Django backends, at work and in my own projects, and I use AI coding tools (Claude Code, Codex) every day.

Dropbox Senior Software Engineer
Mobile Growth (monetization) team on the Dropbox Android app; previously Mobile Previews.
Designed and built the new-market testing program for Android as the only Android engineer. It is an ad-attribution pipeline (Google Play Install Referrer, deeplinks) that works out which campaign a user installed from and routes them to market-specific plans and upsell flows. We used it to test pricing and plans in Indonesia and Colombia. I owned it from technical design to rollout.
Built contextual upsells at key moments in the app (Play Billing IAP v2, base plan IDs, GrowthBook variants). They brought in new subscription revenue and lowered churn.
Led the upsell-frequency calibration project. We tuned how often prompts appear through A/B experiments to maximise upsell revenue, and trial starts went up noticeably.
Drove mitigation of a major SEV, a long-standing billing defect that let users hold two active subscriptions at once. I ran the investigation and shipped the client-side fix that removed most of the impact. A follow-up fix for the remaining edge cases was in rollout.
Found a years-old bug in the traffic proxy that was silently corrupting attribution data. I tracked down the root cause and coordinated the fix across teams.
Fixed push-notification analytics. Every notification got a stable ID and event reporting was corrected, so the engagement data could finally be trusted for growth decisions.
Built the Android front end for the signature-request flow in the Dropbox app on top of an existing backend (Mobile Previews team).
